COACHBUILDERS' ANNUAL CONVENTION
SESSIONS CONCLUDED. The annual convention of tho New Zealand Coach and Motor Vehicle Buildors' Federation of Employers concluded its sessions in Wellington yesterday morning. It was decided to hold the next convention at Auckland. The election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mr. L. .Toll (Auckland); vice-presidents, Mr. A. E. Bath (Inverciugill) and Mr. Arthur Black (Wellington); secretary and treasurer, Mr. E. 0. Harvie (Napier); auditor, Mr. R.. A. Fuller, F.R.A. (Polmcraton North); Advisory Board, president 'nnd vice-presi-dents and Messrs. \V. ,T. Boon and D. 11. Taylor; Tariff Coinmitteo, Messrs. Black an.l Taylor. , It was resolved to link up with the Employers' Federation of New Zealand. Votes of thanks to the retiring officers wero carried. Visiting members expressed their thanks to Wellington meml»rs for tho hospitality the latter had extended to them. ■ Tradespeople in CoHenz have Been selling iron crosses and other decorations to American soldiers as souvenirs. This has aroused the indignation of tho city food authorities, who are lefusing to suppiy provisions to thoso who have the "indecency" to carry on such a.traffic.
