THE 1915 TREATIES. (Rec. Apri] 31, 9.35 p.m.) New York, ■ April 20. A New York "Times" Paris telegram •reports that China's claims, which will In presented to the I'caco Conference, demand tlio complete abrogation of the two treaties between China and Japan, which wore signed on May 25, 1915, dealing with tlio Shantung Province, southern Manchuria, and Eastern and Inner Mongolia, China declares that she was compelled to sign the treaties under pressure, and likens Japan's attitude and behaviour towards her to Austria's towards Serbia. Tho Chinese delegates will tell the Conference that Jnnan prevented China from entering the war when she wishod in August, 1914, and in November, 1915.—Au5.-N.Z, Cable Assn.
