This Herd has' descended from such well-known strains as the AMETHYST, LADY GRACEFUL, LEONORA, ROSAMOND, and PRINCESS HELENA, families on the female side, and SIR WILLIAM, CHIPPENDALE, HORACE, and DUKE OF EDINBURGH; and' BATSFORD blood on the sires side. Mr. Levett has been a, most persistent exhibitor at tho North Island Shows and one of the most successful, and has spared no expense in bringing his herd up to its present high standard.
