NIAGARA LEAVES AUCKLAND. A telegram from Auckland reports that the Canadian-Australasian steamer Niagara sailed on Saturday night for Vancouver, vip, ports, after a fortnight's detention as tho result of influenza breakint; out among tho passengers from Sydney. Tho Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company is in receipt of information from tho lonio advising of tho vessel's expected arrival at Auckland at noon on Wednesday. It is expected that tho lonic will reach Wellington about May 1. BHAMO PROM ENGLAND. The Patrick Henderson steamer Bhamo, for which the Shaw, Snvili, and Albion Company are agents, will reach Auckland on Thursday, April 24, from Glasgow, tho should bo at Wellington about May 1 for discharge. THE MOEEAKI. The intercolonial steamer Mosrakl should make Wellington between dusk to-night and daylight to-morrow. (She will start tho discharge of 3000 tons of cargo at Taranaki Street Wharf on Wednesday, provided a clean bill of health is presented on, arrival. . WAIt COURAGE WITH COAL. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line advises that the War Courage left Newcastle on Friday morning for Wellington to deliver 6000 tons of coal. She will arrive to-morrow and later loads in Now Zealand for Hull. KAURI AND KARAMU. The waterside Workers on Saturday morning turned to in the holds of the Union Company's Kauri and Karamu, both of which had, since last Monday night, boon idle, through reasons well known to everyone. Tho coaetal stoamer Karamu finished unloading her Diinedin consignments, and sailed for Westport. The Kauri waß putting out AuGtralian wheat and she will clear to-morroiv or on Wednesday for Melbourne with town cargo. SCHOONERS GET AWAY. ' The schooners Fearless and Luzon sailed from the stream on Baturday afternoon to sea on their way to Lovuka and San Francisco for the former vtsscl and Puget Sound for tho latter. Tho foreign barquo Titania was moved to tho stream on Saturday morning, and she will sail for Boston. THE KAIKOURA. On Saturday morning the New Zealand Shipping Company's Kaikoura berthed at King's Wharf, and her troops camo ashore. For Napier—her first loading port -she will sail on Wednesday, returning to Wellington to rcceivo before final dispatch for London. AUSTRALIAN SCOW ARRIVES. Tho Union Box; and Packing Company's scow Maroi'o was towed into port yester-' day by tho tug Pelican, and dropped anchor in the quarantine area at 3.20 p.m. She brines a, general cargo and a deckload of timber from Sydney to tho agency of Messrs. G. T. Hull and Co. On completion of discharge hero the vessel will set sail for Wanganui, there to load timber for Sydney. The Maroro took fifteen days to comb across the Taßman Sea and was sighted off Wellington Heads at daybreak yesterday. . MELTABLE GOSSIP. Mr. J. Georgoßon has relieved Mr. F. W. At tho end of tho month sho will sail for Now Plymouth, where the will pick up an oil-refining plant for tho Persian' Gulf. .... .
