OPERA HOUSE COMPANY. Tho directors' thirty-first annual report to tho shareliolders of the Wellington Opera House Company states that miring tho year there has been written oil the Grand Opera House tho sum of &50, ana off tho old Opera Houbc the sum cf iivi. Tho net profit for tho year, alter making provision for depreciation, amounts to £Z&53 Oa. 9d. ■ Adding this to the amount brought forward in appropriation account last year makes that account total £«16 Os. Id. Out of this there has been paid dividends to the amount of A2M3 125., leaving a balance available of hiwi 6s. Id. The directors now propose a turther dividend of 3 per cent, (makinrr the usual 6 per cent, for tho year), which will amount to JBMS6 165., leaving a balance.of £45 12s. Id. to be carried forward.
