Heathercote and Margarine covered a mile and a quarter in 2min. 21 2-ssec. Gay Lad and Punka did six furlongs in lmin. 19sec. Sir Fanciful beat Fabisco over eix furlongs in lmin. 21sec., and Ulcus beat Rorke's Drift in lmin. 21sec. Suiiart easily beat Kilgour over six furlongs in lmin. 19 4-ssec., and Red Ribbon did six furlongs comfortably in lmin. 21 3-ssec. Jingo and Tip-up left 6ix furlongs hehind in lmin. 20 l-ssec., and Old Gold beat Kilbrogan over the same distance In lmin. 20 3-ssec. Desert Gold gave Mascot and luuowen about forty yards' start, over seven furlongs, and finished within a length of Mascot, with Killowcn beaten off, in lmin. 30sec. Imaribbon was in front of Sheila at the end of six furlongs in Imm. 21 1-osec. Gazit[ue went better than 80-peep over seven furlongs in lmin. 33 2-ssec.
