To-night a social evening will be held at the Naval Boating Cl.ub, ,'lervois Ijuay, for che seamen in pon. On Sunday, at the same nlnce, the usual sailors' Sunday tea will be held at :i p.m., followed by a song and gospel service. On Easier Holiday u sailors' picnic will lie held at Jtiramar. Sailors will meet at the rooms of the society, Post Ollice Square, at !) a.m. Various games and sports will be held. On returning from the picnic the party will proceed to the Naval Boating Club shed where a social evening and distribution of prizes to the winders of the. day's sports will conclude'lhe day. If the weather proves unsuitable the day will be spent at the naval b'oliling shed.
