SEASON TICKETS TO BE ISSUED,
At Thursday's meeting of the City Council 1 the following recommendations of the Reserves Committee.were approvC(1: — "That the various requests of' Dr. Cameron and Air. AV. AVlntehead with regard to tlie fees in operation at tlie Municipal Golf Links lie dealt with as follows :-Duration of season ticket: That the season ticket <lalo from the timo of purchase for a perio<l of twelve months, deduction of charges for season tickets: That no reduction bo made in the cltorgo for annual tickets of ~C:i as. for men and jll lis. 6d.. for ladies. Issue of haltyearly tickets: That the request ho not agreed to. ' . ' . "That a lease of the Mem Street croquet lawn be offered to the proposed club on a yearly basis at a rental of j;];i per annum, and that the lease contain the following covenants :-(l) Tlio club shall 1)0 responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the ground. (2J Any club taking over the grounds to he formed publicly. That is, the preliminary meeting for the formation of the club to ho advertised in the daily papers, and (hose interestiMl invited to 'attend. (3) The club consist of not leas than 30 members, whose rules' shall provide that when a ballot is taken for the admission of new members no loss n, proportion ol members than one-fifth shall be able to exclude a candidate for membership. (4) Tile Eeserves Committe to he supplied with a copy of the annual report and balance-sheet as soon as they are issued. (5) That two trustees shall be appointed to be held jointly and severally responsible for the payment of rent, etc.
