GATHERING AT TRENTHAM. On Saturday last a sports meeting was held at Trentlinm Cniup tor the benefit of the Senior Cadet and Territorial n.e.o.'s and officers undcrgoinn tlie fortnightly course of instruction. 'Ilie events were nil well iou«ht out, nearly 1(10 per cent, of the n.e.o.'s competing during the day. It is the endeavour of those reaponsiblo for these sports to get lit the mass as.opposed to the expert few, and the -lnrco number of those who entered proves that they were not unsuccessful. It is hoped to make spoils or all kind, a prominent part of Territorial and Cadet training throughout the.Dominion, and the first steps in this direction are beiiiß made in Trentlinm. ' .
