Dalgoty and Company, Limited, are in receipt of a cablegram from their London office under date of April 11. reading as follows:—"Wool sales closed very firm, except for medium and coarse crossbred and short and faulty merinos, which were slightly lower as compared with priccß ruling at the opening of tho sales. Good merinos and fino crossbreds were dearer, and extreme prices have been paid for wool suitable for spinners. French, Belgian; and Italian buyers were operating."
