Tho report of tho directors, to be submitted nt the annual meeting of shareholders of the New Zealand Investment. Mortgage, and Deposit Company, Ltd., at tho Chamber of Commerce, on Thursday, May 1, states that the net profits on the year's business is £1893 13s. lid., to which must bo added £93 4s. 2d. brought forward from last year, making a total of £19E6 13b. Id. An interim dividend of 3 per tout., amounting to £626 13s. 4d.. was declared and paid for the half-year ended September 30, 1918. leaving £1158 4s. 9d. to bo dealt with. The directors recommend tho payment of a further dividend of 3 per cent, (making 6 per cent, for the year), which -will absorb £833 10s. 3d.; that £200 bo carried to the reserve fund, and thafr tho balance of £124 14s.
