EASTER RALLY AT MASTERTON.

Mr. A. Clema's, lion, secretary of the Masterton Chess Club, reports 'that his committee has made very completo arrangement? for tho chess rally to be held at Masterton during the Easter holidays. The major tourney is to take the form of an inter-club contest, each team to consist of three players. The following names have been handed in for this event:—Wairnrapa: Messrs. P. Kummer, ■G. A. Jones, and W. Moore. Wanganui; Messrs. 0. C. Pleasants, L. Pleasants, and Battle. Wellington Chess Club: Messrs. Davies, Gcdtschalk, and Lee. South' Wellington Chfss Club > -'Messrs. G. P. Anderson, A. Clark, and C. 11. Black. Wellington Working Men's Club: Messrs. Barnes, .Rolling, and S. Faulkner. It is understood- that a sixth team is being arranged /'or in order to obviate a l-.vc in each of tin live i.imii.ls. 'there are to be five playing sessions, nt. follow:— Good Friday*, (evonimr), Saturday (morning, afternoon, inu (veiling), Monday (furenoon).
