'i hirty youths invaded Limerick' Hospital in an attempt to rescue Robert Byrne, a hunger-striking prisoner. They attacked the police with bludgeons and revolvers, killing one policeman and wounding five. They bound the victims with ropes, locked them in a room, am! escaped with Byrne.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. SINN FEInInD~GERMANY INQUIRY INTO THEIR RELATIONS REFUSED. London, April 2 (delayed). Mr. Bonar Law has declined to institute a Departmental inquiry into the relations between the Sinn Fein and Germany. Mr. Redmond suggested an Inquiry into the pre-war relations between Sir Edward Carson and the Kaiser and "particularly witli regard to the luncheon party.'' Mr. Bonar Law said that all the talk on that subject was without foundation. Air. .Devlin suggested that there was hist as much foundation for the talk of a German plot in Ireland, .but Mr. Bonar Law said he regretted that the contrary was the case—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Aesu.
