AUSTRALIANS DEFEAT NEW ZEALANDERS. (Rec. April 13, 5.5 p.m.) i London, April 9. In the Rugby tournament Australia beat New Zealand by 6' points to 5.

In the Rugby match at Bradford .the Australians, with the assistance of the sun and a heavy wind, in the lirst half scored two tries. Shortly after the crossover Storey scored and Stohr converted for the Now floalandcrs, who appeared to be dominating the game, but the Australian wing forwards broke tho All Blacks' combination and maintained the upper hand. Tho Now Zealanders were disappointing, and played below their Iruc form, especially the forwards. flay throughout was aggressive, the tackling on both sides being spjendid—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
