THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT SOTEME.
London, April 11. The report on the Government War Insurance scheme, including cover n»ninst aircraft bombardment, shows that the total premiums received amounted to XWT.-ST.SOO, and the losses paid to ,£171,<tG2,800. Of the balance, part belongs to the Belgian, French, and Italian Governments, leaving J817.000.000 to ho credit of the British Govenmient.-Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn.
