A GAMBLER IN WAR

LUDENDOIiF INDICTED. Ilerr Scheidemann recently stated in the German Assembly that Ludendortt was a skilful gambler in the world war. llindenburg subsequently addressed a letter to Scheidemann, in which ho sa.ii : "General Ludendorft' is a fervent patriot and always strove for tho best for the Gorman nation in his own foroiblo manner.
