WOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at -li a Special Meeting of the Upper Hutt Town Board, held on (he 24th day of March, 1919, it was RESOLVED by way of SPECIAL ORDEK that Ihe said Board make'a By-Law under (ho provisions of "The Town Boards Act, 1908/' "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," and the amendments thereof respectively and in pursuance of all other powers, if any, authorising the Board in that behalf. The object and purport of which are as follow— PROVIDING for the Licensing of Traction Engines, Motor AVagons, Motor Omnibuses, and Delivery Vans, and the payment of a license fee therefor; the rate of speed at which such Traction Engines and Motor Wagons may travel; the conditions upon which Traction Engines, Motor AVagons. Motor Omnibuses, and Delivery Alms may use tho Streets ov Roads within tho Town District, the method of their construction and the loads they may carry, and their inspection; penalties for breaches of tho By-Law. The said resolution shall be submitted for confirmation to tho Special Meeting of the Board to lie held at the Town Board Office, Main Road, Upper Hutt, on TUESDAY, the 22nd day of APRIL, 1919, at 7.30 p.m, at which meeting tho day of the coming into force of the said By-Law will be fixed. A full copy of (he proposed.
