STATE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
The Wellington Education Board has decided to grant the Easter holidays with the first-term holidays this year, so the. State schools of the Wellington district ■will be closed from the afternoon of Thursday, April 17, until the morning of Tuesday, - April 29—a period of eleven days. The holidays of (he State schools will run concurrent with those of the secondary schools, which will be a great convenience not only to the education authorities but to the parents and children.
Should peace bo formally declared during the holiday period, the school children will be advised as to the part they are to play, through the medium of the newspapers,
