It has been found Unit the men landing from (lie transports greatly anpreci. ate the hospitality extended to them at the club, and most of them make (ilia their rendezvous. 'Funds are urgently required for tho entertainment of the men, who hail from all parts of--New Zealand, and many of whom await-steamers or' trains to take them to th?ir destination. • It is good tlmf crowds- stand on tho wharves or in the streets to wave flays and cheer, but to-morrow an opportunity will bo given the public, of showing practical appreciation of our boys' gallant services for New' Zenlwid and the JOm. pirn by .contributing liberally to tho Indies who are making this deserving appeal. :
