EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. Paulino Stnrko is Hie heroine of tho Triaiißlo drama "Alias Mary Brown" screening this week at Everybody's 'llieatre. Cftsson l«'ergusson is the hero who sets out to be rovrageel on three ramies wlio hiwl ruined his father and caused his mother's death. Th action of the play is rapid, and the interest increases throughout, while the story is excellently constructed. A further chapter of the "House of Hate" serial rounds off a verv excollent bill of fare. EJIPEESS THEATRE. "Tho Power and the Glory" is a fascinating drama by the World Film Corporation, now showing at the Empress Theatre. June Elvidge has tlio leading part, and with her are Madge Evans, Johnny Hinds, Prank Mayo, and other World favourites. The supports include"Sho Needed a Doctor," a Keystone byoroeler.
"THE GAY GAMBOLS." On Saturday night at tho Town Hall tho Bohemian clubs of Wellington will make a special effort on behalf of the Jiehiined Soldiers' Appeal Fund, entertainment promises to provide an j excellent evening's enjoyment, being somewhat different to tho ordinary patI riotic concert. TJie first part is being provided by "Tho Gay Gambols," an entirely neiv costume comedy company, to be presented for the first time in Wellington by Miss Maud Blctsoe-Bucker-itlge, who is taking a prominent part with twenty other performers, including Miss Winnie Birch-Johnston, Mr. Percy Everett, ami Mr. Albert Russell. In the second part Mr. Herbert F. Wood is lo sing some of his popular songs. Miss Estflle Beere's little pupils are providins three dances, and Mr. Len Barnes will also appear. The performance will conclude with a one-act play, written by Mr. Harcus Plimmer, entitled "A Cockney Camouflage." The characters will be played by Mr. Paul Latham. Mr. Norman E. 'Aitken, Misses Lily Chapman, and Ivy Sheernr. The box plun is open at the Bristol, where seats can be reserved.
