PATRIOTIC SOCIETY'S BAND
Th thirty-first annual meeting of the Wellington Patriotic Society's Band (late Jupp's Baud) was held in the bundroom. llr. W. Jupp, sen., the band conductor, ■was elected to the, chair. The balancesheet was read and adopted. For twelve years' continuous service a gold medal was presented to Seigoant 51. Ahcarn, also red stars to ton of Iho members for three years' service. Office-bearers were elected as follow.—Secretary, Mr. W. Laiiff (rc-oloeted); treasurer, Ah , . \V. Jupp, jun. (re-elected); band committee, .Messrs. W. Judd, sen., W. Jupp, jun., Vi. Lau", H. Ahearn, V. W. .Dcwsbtiry, U. A. Carlyle, 1 1 . I'erretl, JJ. Jl'Lean, G. Foley. Tim followinj; were re-elected officers of the band:—Patron, .Sir Joseph Ward; president, -Mr. James A. Macintosh; vice-presidents, Sir Itobsrfc Ktou!, Sir John Vimllay, K..C, Uon. T. 51. Wilford. Mr. 3. 1 , . Luke. C.M.G., Messrs. .Sidney Kirkcaldio, C. C. Odlm, (J. P. Iho band has given over 300 performances, many in patriotic functions.
