NO CAUSE FOB ALARM.

The Wellington Publio Health District extends up to Waiapu County (Poverty Bay), on the East Coast, and to Taranaki on the West—practically more than half of tho North Island. Within that extended area only five cases of influ. cnza wore reported to the Public Health authorities during the week ended noon yesterday. Of those cases only one was severe, and four were mild. The locations were as follow:—Two cases in Wellington, two in Wanganui, and one in Waiapu.
