KARORI GOLF CLUB
The annual meeting of the Karori Golf Club was held on March 2li. There wero about thirty-five members present. The report and balance-sheet was adopted on the motion of the chairman, Mr. L. George. The election of officers resulted as under:—President, Mr. L. George (reelected); vice-presidents, Messrs. H. D. Kanlon. .1. M'Kenzie, J. P. Eedmond; secretory, Mr. H. J. Stott. (re-elected); treasurer, Mr. G. Turner; captain, Mr. R. Sicvcrs; committee, Messrs. G. W. Guthrie, A. Stichbury, G. G. Watson, J. Dempster, 0. C. Maa-ngarb; lion, auditor. Mr. G. M. Banks. The president announced that he had secured extension to the links by renting a piece of ground, and at least three additional holes would bo made for play during the coming season.
