The New Zealand and African Company advised yesterday that the Whakatane, which left New York ou March 21 for New Zealand, has cargo for tho four ports, and is due at Auckland about the end of Ihis month. She is coming in the service of the A. and A. Line. THE GUDBROOK. The Union Company's barque Clladbrook arrived at San Francisco on March 20 from Port Chalmers after a passage of 64 days. After unloading her cargo she will go on the receiving berth for Sydney. THE WAR OPAL; The War Opal will sail from Port Chalmers at 4 p.m. to-day for Wellington, where sho will take in blinker supplies beforo leaving on Monday for Olsborne, her port of loading for Liverpool. CUFIC AT.AUCKLAND. Tho White Star stenmer Cufic, from St. John, Canada, arrived at Auckland shortly after 1 a.m. yesterday, and will reach Wellington about Friday. She has also cargo for Australia. THE MANUKA. The intercolonial steamer Manuka will arrive at Wellington nt 8 o'clock to-night and will berth pTobably to-morrow night. Cargo for Wellington amounts to IJCO tons, and' sho will go through to Lyttelton on Saturday night to put out 700 tons at that port. Returning to Wellington on Tuesday the Manuka will sail on that afternoon for Sydney. EARANGA REPORTED. The Raranga (Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co.), bound from London to New Zealand, wa6 at Newport News on March 27. Tho Raranga has troopfl, and should arrive at Wellington on April 28. lONIC FOR AUCKLAND. Tho Shaw Savill and Albion Company advised yesterday that the lonic, cargo laden, from London, will make Auckland her first port of call, and is due thero on April 2d. The vessel also has cargo for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. THE WAIHORA. The Waihora left Wellington, last night for Auckland, from which port she will sail for Sydney. The scow Monaro 'will shortly leave Sydney for Wellington. The Port Alma arrived at Bluff at 2,15 p.m. yestorday from Sydney and will load Micro and at Lyttelton for London. Tho Maori will go into dock at Lyttelton on Saturday, and for that reason will take no cargo from Wellington on FrMav. At 8 o'clock this morning the Wellington Waterside Workers' Union will hold a "stop-work" meeting in the X store waiting room. It is announced that th» business will be to decide the question of representation at the conference. The Hinemoa worked Kahurangi Point, lighthouse on Monday, and later noved one of tho buoys marking the minefield off Cape Farewell. Yesterday storeß and provisions were delivered to the lightkeepers at Farewell Spit, and this .morning materials for the building of a new landing-place at Stephen Island will bo left there. Tho Vessel will arrive a't Wellington to-night. A float, one of those set adrift at Capo Farewell by the Marine. Department to show the direction of the tides ard currents for the purpose of locating floating mines, some of which are still supposed to be adrift, was washed ashore at Otakoho, Taranaki, last week. A stowaway was found on the ferry" Bteamer Mararoa on her passage from Wellington on Saturday night, and was handed over to the police at Lyttelton.
