NOTICE IS HEUEBY GIVEN that at n Special Meeting of the Upper Hutt Town Board, held on the 24th (lay of March, 1919, it was RESOLVED by way of SPECIAL ORDER that the said Board make a By-Law under the provisions of ''The Town Boards Act, 11)08," "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908." and the amendments thereof respectively and in pursuance of nil other powers, if any, authorising (he Board in that behalf. The object and purport of which arc as follow:— PROVIDING for the Licensing of Traction Engines, Motor Wagons, Motor Omnibuses, and Delivery Vans, and the payment of a license fee therefor; the rule of speed at which such Traction Engines and Motor Wagons may travel; Hie conditions upon which Traction Engines, Motor Wag-. otis. Motor Omnibuses, ami Delivery Vans may use the Streets or Roads within the Town District, the method of (heir construction and the loads they may carry, ami their inspection ; penalties for breaches of the By-Law. The said resolution shall be submitted for confirmation to the Special Meeting of the Board lo .bo held at the Town Board Office, Main Road, Upper Hutt,. on TUESDAY, the 22nd day of APRIL. 1919, at 7.110 p.m., at which meeting the day of the coming into force of the said By-Law will be fixed. A full copy of tlie proposed Special Order and By-Law is deposited at the Office of the Board, situate in the Town Board Office aforesaid, whore the same will bo open for inspection of the public., without foe, during office hours, until the said confirming meeting is lield.
