iIORNINGTON LADIES' CLUB. The first annual genoral meeting of the Mornington- Ladies'. Golf Club was held'in the pavilion: on ■ the link 3on Saturday. The president, Dr. E. A. Cameron, occupied the' chair, and there was a goofl ■ attendanceof members. Prizes won during the past year were presented by the president to the following winners:—Mrs. Hawson, rose bowl, presented by Dr. Cameron ; Mrs. Thorp, second prize in this competition; Miss Laurenson, third prize. Miss Pearson, prize presented by Mrs. Cromb. Mrs. Whitehead, prize presented by the captain (Mrs, -Hawson). Mrs, Hawson, prize presented by Mr. Bowness. Monthly buttons las follow:—ill's.. Hftivson throe, Mrs. Cromb one, Mrs, Whitehead onq, Mrs. Laurenson one, Miss Laurenson one, Miss S. Jenkins one. It was unanimously ajreed that the club had had a very successful opening year. Dr. E. A. Cameron was re-elected president. Mrs. Macarthy-Eeid, Mrs. T. M. Wilford, and Mrs. G. Frost were ejected vice-presi-dents. The following officers a,nd committee were elected:—Captain, Mrs. E. A. Cameron; treasurer, Mrs. Laurenson j secretary, Mrs. Whitehead; committee, Mrs. Hawson, Mrs. Donnerly, Mrs. Watt, Miss Laurenson, and Miss Williamson. Dr. Cameron presented a rose bowl to be played for during the ensuing season, and thea'e were sevoral other donations of prizes, making it certain that tho club will not go slack for want of competition during the ensuing season.
