■WELCOME ARRANGEMENTS.
The Maori Pioneer-Battalion will arrive at Auckland on i.'.pril 5. The Last. Coast men will proceed to Gisbornc by boat in tho evening. A reception has been arranged for the Eitsfc Coast men at Gisbornc. after which they, will ')•«- perso lo their homes. The West Coast members of tho battalion, from south of Taumarunm, will proceed to Wanganui by tram, leaving Auckland in tho evening. Thoy will b" tendered a welcome at Wanganui »v their people. ,
