INTERNED GERMAN HANGS HIMSELF

An interned Gorman named William Manthcr, aged 35, who was admitted to the Auckland Mental Hospital from Narrow Neck Camp on March 19 suffering from delusional insanity, was found on Thursday hanging from n shutter by a pieco of sheeting, and was cut down. Artificial respiration was applied and Manther remained in a comatose state until yesterday, when he died. A postmortem examination showed that congestion of the lungs causod dea-tli, which was attributed to shock following hanging.
