BOWLING
PENNANT FINAL. The Pennant final between Jolinsonville, winners of the A Section, and Newtown, the present holders and' winner* of B Section, was played on the Hataitai green on Saturday afternoon. The conditions generally were conducive to good play, but taking the two games right through it must be admitted that the '&lder club's representatives carried too many guns for their opponents, Jas, Brackcnridge's rink dealing .espjcially severely with the rink skipped by Tnplin, who was only able to score on six heads. The former opened with a live and ran the score up to eleven before Tapliti opened his account. The game between Turner's and Scott's rinks was more evenly contested, but though the lormer scored on the first head, lie could not prevent, tlio Newtown rink from quickly getting and retaining a handy lead.
