LESSONS OP THE WAR, (Rec. March 30, 11.30 p.m.)
London, March 29. Admiral Beatty, replying to the presentation of the freedom of Liverpool, said: "The Navy learned many lessons .during the war. We must see that those lessons are taken to heart, so that wo shall not again have to face a great crisis with improvised methods. Such economies as retrenchment requires must be applied wisely, with a proper understanding of future problems in the light of the experience gain>d in the war. — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Aesn. THE AFTER-WAR DISTRIBUTION. (Bee. March 30, 11.30 p.m.) . London, March 29. The after-war distribution of the Navv will bo the Home Fleet and seven squattruns stationed in the Atlantic, the West Atlantic, China, (South Africa, South America, East Indies, and tho Mediter-ranean.—Aus.-N.Z.
