VILLAIN ACQUITTED. (Rec. March 31, 0.30 a.m.). Paris, March 30. Raoul Villain, accused of murdering M. Jaures in 1314, has been acquitted. He pleaded patriotic motives. Tho prosecwtion did not demand the-death sentence. Tt blamed a section of tho Pre?s for its virulent attacks on M. Jaures,. which were morally responsible for Villain's act. Villain's 'mother has been an mma.te of an asylum since his childhood — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
