FRANCE'S GIFT TO CANADA. (Rec. March 30, 5.5 p.m.) London, March 26. Sir John Monash, the Australian Commander, stated that it would bo generous if France granted similar land to South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand, as it was reported the French nation had made tho grant of Vimy Ridge to Canada. The gift would create a never-to-be-for-gotten bond of fraternity, with France.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. {
