LIST OF- SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS.
Messrs. W. P. Ward (chairman), William Allen, M. .Chapman, W. H. P.' Barber, and Professor Enstorfiold attended a meeting of the College Governors held yesterday morning. The, financial statement showed a crodit balanco at the bank of J2709. and .£BSOO on fixed deposit. Accounts amounting to .£1927 9s. 9d. were passed for payment on account of the- Wellington Girls' aud Boys' Colleges, etc. Mr. J. P. Firth, master of Wellington College, reported the following list of scholarship winners for 1919:—First Rhodes Scholarship, C. H. Main; first Moore, C. W. Isaac; second Rhodes, J. L. Stewart; second Moore, E. H. P. Howard; Turnbull (,£10), C. 10. Wright; Turnbull (A's each), J. P. Stewart, C. N. Nicholls, J. L. Gillon; Levin (for languages), 11. H. Atkinson; Levin (for W'icnee), D...T. Currio and W. R. Richardson; history, ,T. R. Dagger and W. R. Richardson; book-keeping, A. P. Price.
The board decided thnt the .Tames Miickuy bursary should lie .£ls per annum, tenable for three years, and that it should bo awarded to a pupil who had attended tho college for at least one year, such pupil'to bo selected by tho headmaster, after consulting with the staff and taking into considerations the results of tho annual examination.
