DEMOLISHING PARIS FORTIFICATIONS
(Rec. March £7, 7.10 p.m.) Paris, March 21. The Chamber of Deputies has adopted a Bill demolishing the city fortifications and allowing for the natural expansion of the city. The demolitions will enable the construction of gardens, parks, and dwellings.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
