A circular was received from the Un-der-Heerotarv of Lands with reference to unpaid rates on Crown leaseholds, as the result of transfer from one party to the other, and it was suggested that the position could be met by a condition of the consent" to transfer being that all rates due on the property ale paid up '"waitotarn County Council forwarded a scheme for expenditure oj.
