At n meeting of the Provincial Farmers'' Union a reply was received from the Minister of Lands to the request that farmers should be placed. on the Advisory Board in connection with.the.pur-; chase of land for-returned soldiers; The Minister of Lands wrote that it would be. impossible-(o r.ccede to the request. Some, members pointed out that advice given by the leading farmers to the Land Purchase Board had been disregarded, and none of the places suggested' had beeif secured.
