The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile; Arcncy Oo„ Ltd., reportr-At our Hirnitsr.gi sale on Monday we had a fair yardine of sheep and Bmall entry of cattle. Sheep were in fair demand, and we managed to dispose of the yarding at .prices to suit vendors. Cattle were- dull. We quote :-Fat lambs', 19a.; fat and forward lambs, 16s. Bd.; rape lambs, lZs.i woolly lambs, los.; fat ewes 255.: forward ewes, 155.; cull owes. 5b.; fair owes, 12s. lid.; Lincoln rams, 17s. 6d.; weaner helftrs. 30a. , - The Wairarapa Farmers Co-operative Association. Ltd., report having held a clearing sale at Kaituna, on account of Mr. Murray Jackson. ■ The caijle; and sheep came forward in good»condition, but they met with poor competition .from a fair attendance. Prices werc:-Four-tooth. six-tooth, and four-year ewes, run-, nini? with Hiunncy rains,. 23b. 3d.; twotooth ewee. 21e.: five-year ewes, 16b.; aged eweß, ICs.; cull lambs. 6b. 6d.; b!ack-faco two-tooths, 205.; Hereford cows and calves. £15 155.: others, £12: weaner Hereford calve= £2 to £4: eichteen-month heifers, £5; a'cod draught horses. £15 158., £14 10a., £12, to £7: youne colts. £7 to £«.. ■
