According to tho latest ndvicea froia Melbourne the fixed Government prices for milliiiK wheat had advanced 3d. per bushel. This meant that the price to local (Australian) millers -was Sβ., and to .New Zealand buyers 6s. per bushel, thus preserving a margin , of one ' shilling per bushel between wheat for Home :nilling and' wheat, for niillim; in this country. The price for (lour (for local consumption) ivas unaltered at £10.155. per ton (£2 more per ton for. export to New Zealand). Bran and pollard had buen advanced by the Prices Commissioner to £6 ss. and £i lie. per ton respectively, delivered. The demand was urcatcr than the supply. . . .
