There are now five ox-Lords Chancellor, (ho first four of whom are drawing pensions of .£5000: . . Lords Halsbury, pensioned smee liKb. Lord Loreburn, pensioned since 1312. Lord Haldano, pensioned 6ince 1915. Lord Buolunaster, pensioned since 1916. Lord Finlay, on accentiiist the ,Lord Chancellorship ia 1916, stipulated that ha should not draw tho pension on retirement.
