ANTONIA DOLOKES-TO-NIGHT,
This evening in tho Grand Opera House Mile. Antonia Dolores will give the first.of her three return and farewell concerts in Wellington, tho other nights being Thursday and Friday, with an entirely new programme for each conoert. Seats for these threo concerts can now be booked at tho Bristol Piano Co., while concessions, uro announced for students and schools'—and these will no doubt bo taken full advantaße of. These nre probably tho last opportunities residents of Wellington will havo of hearing Mdllc. Dolores, and the interest aroused is reflected in booking. To hear Dolores is an education as well as a slimulating musical evening. .For tho farewell recitals tho singer will delve into her rich store-house of muaicnl knowledgo for programmes _ that will nppenl to all tastes. To-night, apart from her popular numbers, she will bo heard in Mozart's recit. "Gumse alfin" (Lo Nozze de Figaro) and the aria "Deh \~ieni," while there will bo songs of spirit, meaning, and melody interpreted by Dolores in her own inimitable way. Sir. John Prouse, baritone, and Mr Harold Smith, pianist, will also assist. The plans, for all concerts ,aro at the Bristol Piano Co. daily, while day sale tickets aro available at Ned Perry's. KING'S THEATRE, A good strong story, high art in photography, and the display of the latest creations of Dame Fashion, combined with the high artistry of Clara Kimball Young, make up "Tho House of Glass," tho latest of this popular artist's productions by her own company. The star picture is backed by excellent supports. Miss Peggy Smart has a. pleasing mezzo-soprano voice, and received a flattering, reception at her initial appearance last evening. Intending patrons aro advised to book at the Bristol.
