"N.Z. BOWLER"
Thoro are reputed to be at least 10,000 men who are members of well-establish-ed bowling ciAbe in New Zealand, and in many eusts the clubs are so crowded that men are waiting for admission, and new clubs are being established all over the country. A sport of such wido popularity deserves a mouthpiece, and Mr. James W.ulr, in publishing "Tho New Zealand "Bowler," tlile first copy of which is to hand, proposes to give- it one. Tho paper is well 'packed with articles and items which should interest bowlers, new and old, thiou'ghout the Dominion. Attention is dr?.wn to an article analysing th,e constitution of thn Dominion Bowling Association by Mr. Sydney H. Underwood, who throws soino light on. tho weaknesses of the present method of electing the executive of that body. Tho illustrations ore topical, and, as a rule, interesting. Ono of the tat things in the journal is a couple of columns of c'haracteris-tic sayings of well-known bowlera, comniled by !Mt. J. D. Sievwrigh't, of. Wellington. The- paper is excellently printed on good quality paper.
