FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for liigli northerly winds, backing; to soutlierlies shortly. Stormy weather may be expcctcd, with rain ceuorally, and snow ou higher levels in the south, and colder conditions following. Barometer fall, but rising in about twenty .hours. Cloudy and unsettled weather lias overspread the country, and rain lias been reported in many parts.
