FRANCE AND HER DEAD

The French Chambers have decidcd in principle that the names of all soldiers who fought and died for France in this war should be inscribed in registers and deposited in tho Pantheon. On the same registers will figure the names of non-combatant victims of enemy violence, or who died while exercising public functions or whilo fulfilling their duties as citizens. A memorial will be raised in the Pantheon to the heroes of the great war, and each commune in France will receive a Golden Book for the inscrintion of tho names of its own soldiers and sailors.
