FARMERS' PICNIC

The annual picnic of the "Wellington vegetable and fruitgrowers was held at the Iliitt Park on Saturday, and proved a great success. Farmers and their families from the district attended in strong force, and several of the Wellington auctioneers, and their employees were also present. The l'etone Band was in attendance. mid played selections during the day. The sports programme was in tiie hands of a strong,committee, and resulted as follows
