AUDITOR'S REPORT. The City Auditor . (Mr. A. 'i\ Clarice) reported to the City Council last mailt that the balance-sheet hail been returned by the Audit Department this year without' any tag. This was, the second year in succession which such a result had been obtained. The rents had all -been collected. The water' accounts lvero again iii a satisfactory condition. Many small accounts were outstanding in connection with work done bv the engineer's department. A collector was to be employed.' He had again to call attention to tlie amount due by sports clubs for (he use of reserves. Now that the v.-ar was at an end these outstandings should lo dealt with.
