CITY COUNCIL TO TAKE ACTION,

The shortage of coal in the city was mentioned at last night's mooting of the City Council, ' Several councillors suggested that 601110 effort should be made to relieve the position. The Mayor said he thought the council had better go to tho Board of Trade as a body, and see what could he done. He agreed that the position was really serious. and that some effort should he made to secure coal for the citizens during the winter months. This suggestion was adopted.
