ANNUAL MEETINGS OP. CLUBS PONJ3KE QLUB. - . - Tho Po'ncko Football' Club hold'its anmini liieetiuy last eveuiug. Tho annual report showed that of thirteen matches played by the first fifteen during the 1918 season, ten luul been won by the club, two lost, and oiiq drawn. The club had had tho distinction of winning the senior championship, Messrs, O'Brien and Grillitlis wcro both thanked for their services iii coaching the team. The following officers wero elected: — President, Dr.' A. IC. Newman, M.P.; delegates, to Wellington Rugby Football Union, Messrs. W. J. AVhite, A. J Griffiths, and J Tilyard; honorary secretary, Mr. S. Danks; honorary treasurer, Mr. C. Mitchell; selection committee, Messrs. The president, Mr.' T. s' Kcnaldson, occupied tho chair, and mere whs a large attendance of old and' naw members. In moving tho adoption of the annual report; and balance-sheet tho president complimented' tho club on the very fine eoord it had established in connection IV 1 J' 10 Great War, practically all of 2,9 members' who had served, or w#re_at present serving their King and Jwiipire, being voluntary enlistments Ho feelingly expressed the club's sorrow that some Mty-two 'members had "gono Host, m.tlie servico of their country, ami tendered ' its sympathy to their relatives. M.4BIST BROTHERS OLD BOYS The Marist; Brothers old boys had a club some eight years ago, and in IMI two mi,(dies wen; played, both of which wjre won. Then the club quietly slippod out of existence. Last ovening. a meeting, convened by Mr. ,T. Hayden, was held in the Marist Brothers' schoolroom, Tnsiuan Street, with Hie object' of reconstituting tho club. There was a good attendance of both. senior and innior players. Mr. ,1. F. O'.Sullivan preside'l, and explained the objects of tho meeting. He said that throughout New /jfoiland the Marist old boys wore playing Rugby, and ho thought Wellington ought to bo able to support a good club. On tho motion of the convener it was decided to form a club under the titleof the Marist Brothers' Rugby football Club. All present joined the' club. Tho election of officers resulted as follows:— Club captain, Mr. D. Donovan; vice-cap-t-iin. Mr. J. M'C'loary; management: committee, Messrs. L. Harvey, \V. Lcnnon, J. Holland, J. Hayden, and T. Ready; delegates to the Rugby Union, Messrs. .1, F. O'Sullivan and .1. Ilavden; secretary, Mr. J. JT'Clear.v; treasurer, Mr. R. L. Ferris. Tho Management Cuniiniil.ee was instructed to draw up tho rules of the club.
