AUSTRALIA'S WAR BURDEN
ANNUAL DRAIN OF TWENTY-FIVE MILLIONS.
Melbourne, March 19. Mr W. A. Walt, Acting-Federal Prime Minister, stated that the Commonwealths war burdens payable out of revenue amounted to .£25.000,000 annually. For manv years tho financial pressure would be so great that all resources of revenue must be levied upon.—Press Assn.
