'l'ootill, a Labour member of Parliament for Bolton, had nn interview with King George, in which it was suggested that old, steady employees of any firm should be entitled to enter a board'room fov the purpose of discussing any grievance with the directors, instead of depending upon appointed representatives. Mr. 'l'ootill thinks that if the plan were adopted it would eliminate many cases of friction between employees and employers. The King did not comment, but merely listened .-Aus.-N.SS. Cable Assn.
