MILITARY SERVICE BILL
RETENTION CLAUSE ADDED. (Reo March 20, 0.20 a.m.) London, March 19. In the Hoitso of Commons, Mr. Winston Churchill agreed to an amendment in the new Servico Bill for the retention of soldiers after April 30, 1920. Recently tho voluntary enlistments totalled ono thousand daily. They are now from six to soven hundred daily.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
